Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026  ·  The Indian Jewellery Store

What this is

These are the terms for using The Indian Jewellery Store (TIJS), operated by DVAB Labs Private Limited. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Who can use TIJS

TIJS is a B2B platform for registered businesses — jewellery brands, retailers, and designers. You need to be at least 18 years old and authorised to make decisions for your business. It's not designed for individual consumers buying for personal use.

Orders

We offer three ways to source:

  • Catalogue orders: 14 to 24 days
  • Customisation of existing designs: 17 to 30 days
  • Custom manufacturing from your designs: 31 to 52 days

These are estimates. If something's going to take longer, we'll tell you before it becomes a problem.

Pricing and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclude GST unless stated. GST is added at checkout at the applicable rate. We don't charge hidden fees. Payment is due before we confirm your order.

Quality and certification

Every product goes through two-factor verification before it ships. Lab grown diamonds are GIA or IGI certified. 925 silver is hallmarked. All documentation comes with your order. If a product doesn't match what was certified, we replace it or refund you.

Returns

We accept returns when:

  • The product doesn't match its certified specifications
  • It arrives damaged
  • The wrong item was sent

You have 7 days from delivery to raise a return with photographic evidence. We don't accept returns on custom or bespoke orders for change of mind. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days.

Your designs

Any designs you submit for customisation or custom manufacturing are yours. We don't claim ownership of them. Our website content and platform are ours — don't reproduce or use them without written permission.

Our liability

We are a procurement platform, not the manufacturer. Our liability is limited to the value of the order in dispute. We are not responsible for indirect losses or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are resolved through arbitration in Mumbai under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The language of arbitration is English.

Changes

We may update these terms. If you continue using the platform after changes, that counts as acceptance. We'll notify active users of anything significant by email.
